The company operates various modes of passenger transport, including buses, metro, trams, and bicycles, addressing all mobility needs of its customers. In addition, it manages bus stations and service areas. Currently, it is the leading private operator of urban and metropolitan bus transport in Spain. It has a fleet of over 2,700 buses managed by a team of more than 8,000 employees. Avanza transports more than 340 million people each year.
Avanza is a member of the Bus Committee of the UITP (International Association of Public Transport), the leading global organization for the promotion of public passenger transport and sustainable mobility, headquartered in Brussels.

Avanza is one of the partners of the project and a key player in the pilot that will be carried out in Spain.
